I'm a lover of trivia and information. That led me to get my degree in Library Science.  My first experiences with varietals of alcohol started with wines. I became a lover of most of the red grape options out there, and moved to discovering microbrews and beers when I did stand up comedy at open mics for a few years.

Back in 2011, a few friends introduced me to hard ciders via a new cider bar in Portland, Oregon, called Bushwhackers Cider.  As they have grown and their selections on tap and in their coolers have grown, so has my love of cider.  I can often be found at their weekly tastings, and other cider festivals and events.
