First of the Cider Week Events I plan on attending this week. This one was at Bushwhacker's Cider in SE Portland. Great pairing of a couple EZ Orchard Ciders with three different cheeses from Steve's Cheese Bar. The 2011 Cidre and the 2009 were quite different and both very tasty. I didn't quite catch the first two cheeses, but the third was a British Cheddar and went excellently with the 2009 vintage.

I followed up the tastes with a Red Tank Chops - Semi-dry sour cherry apple cider. Really enjoyed this one, not too tart or too sweet. Actually found it even tastier than the 2 Towns Cherried Away (sour cherry, hibiscus and apple). Then had an 8 oz of the D's Wicked Baked Apple cider. It was one of my favorites from the Cider Summit PDX on Saturday.
