Cider Notes: Farmhouse Cider 2013 Release. Zeb does 100% of the production himself. This is his 3rd commercial release of cider. He uses 12 or so different apple varietals in the blend. His cider is done in the French / English style.
Black Lapin Cherry, 7.1% ABV. Made with 2012 and 2013 cherries, aged several months. The appearance is a cloudy, medium red color, and a musty nose. This Cider is barrel aged, very tasty with a touch of sour notes. Its then bottle conditioned in a winemaker/ champagne style.
2011 Farmhouse Cider, light gold color, less effervescent. As time goes by, this cider develops more detailed layers o flavor and mellows.
2012 Farmhouse Cider, light gold color, more dry, more astringent nose and flavors.
2013 Farmhouse Cider, very pale, cloudy yellow color, floral nose, similar to a champagne with the bubbles. More dry.
Bushwhacker Golden Ginger, 5.8% ABV, very pale and cloudy yellow color. Citrus nose with notes of dill. Overall a very refreshing cider.
Woodchuck Fall, 5% ABV, dark amber color, fall / mulling spices.
